Skills Training Description: Hidden in Plain Sight: Solving Root Causes of Cyber Insecurity
This session picks up where Paul's January 8th lunch session ended. This highly interesting and eye-opening seminar delves deep into simple but powerful design-level solutions that are already inherent within operating systems and common cyber security products, yet are oddly widely overlooked by both amateurs and professionals alike in both the IT and OT worlds. Learn a highly cost-effective strategy named the Multi-Factor Defense Framework® (MFDF) which mitigates all the root causes behind the wide array of methods used by hackers to hack today's layered defense-based security models.
Finally, this presentation explores a new cyber security product in the OT security space which vividly illustrates all of the concepts taught in both sessions while providing high levels of operations assurance and cyber security assurance at the same time.
