Tracy began researching the history of the Banning Lewis Ranches as part of broader historical work to help inform future development. Along the way, she discovered the story of Ruth Banning and became captivated by her leadership, vision, and lasting influence on Colorado Springs. Through this presentation, Tracy hopes to help shine a light on Ruth Banning’s legacy and ensure her remarkable contributions are more fully recognized.
