White Magic for Lovers is the bedroom-pop project of Brighton-based Thomas White, formerly of The Electric Soft Parade and Brakes. Weaving together disparate influences from across the decades - from Judee Sill to Broadcast to Mary Lou Williams - the project’s debut album, ‘The Book of Lies’, was described by The Quietus as “Understated yet captivating… a delicate delight”. The LP followed three successful singles, each receiving extensive airplay across BBC Radio 6 Music, including support from Guy Garvey and a session for Riley & Coe. On stages across the country, White Magic for Lovers has supported Everything Everything, The Divine Comedy, Sea Power, C Duncan, The Twang, The Monochrome Set, Young Knives and The Waeve. Last year, White Magic for Lovers also appeared at festivals such as Are You Listening? and Krankenhaus, and played sold-out headline shows at Brighton’s Alphabet and London’s St Pancras Old Church.

Catrin Vincent
Catrin Vincent is a London-based solo artist and former front-woman of the post-rock band Another Sky. With Another Sky, she performed on Later… with Jools Holland, recorded a Tiny Desk session, and supported stadium heavyweights like Biffy Clyro and Sam Fender. Writing for The Independent in 2020, Alexandra Pollard described her voice as “…incomparable. Androgynous, lurching, disorienting. It is delivered as if her very life depends on it.” As her band of ten years came to an end, Catrin began producing her solo record in the throes of grief. Living in a van while facing the London housing crisis, she immersed herself in nature, finding a new sense of musical freedom inspired by Nick Drake. This year, she is set to release her debut solo album via Fiction Records - a love letter to her twenties that speaks to the core of being human and to finding light in our darkest moments.

Platonica Erotica
Platonica Erotica is the musical project of LA-born London-based artist Hannah Hayden. Creating dreamy, dark and abstract sound worlds using a modular synthesiser and refined vocal technique, her repertoire ranges from 60s girl group to microtonal and ambient - expect the unexpected. Previously championed by So Young Magazine and Loud and Quiet, and praised for the brooding beauty of her voice, which is often likened to Lana Del Rey, Platonica Erotica recently returned with the new single ‘Pawnshop’ via Slow Dance Records. Since her first release in 2021, she has built a devoted following within London’s underground scene, sharing stages with Blondshell, Famous, Legss and Skydaddy at venues including The 100 Club and Moth Club. She has also toured the UK and Europe with Black Country, New Road, and performed a state51 Factory Session.

Charlie Keen's Silver Birch
Inspired by John Martyn, Anthony Braxton, Ravel and the philosophy of Kenny Werner, Charlie Keen is a classically trained jazz multi-instrumentalist best known for his trombone wizardry as a member of KEG and for his work with Squid and Skydaddy. Through his solo project, Charlie Keen’s Silver Birch, he explores themes of nostalgia and loss with graceful suspense and introspective depth. Sonorous shruti box drones and mournful ambient synths create a richly evocative backdrop for his trombone-led compositions. At times unsettling, at others heartbreakingly sombre - yet never without a flicker of enlivening joy - Keen’s trombone playing takes centre stage. As a live performer, Charlie Keen’s Silver Birch has played shows for Strong Island Recordings and has supported Mermaid Chunky, Pozi and Big Long Sun.
