The 4th Annual 2026 Hidden Figures Freedom Fest is a community celebration acknowledging the national observance of Juneteenth while also creating a festival-style experience for our local Hidden Figures—the houseless members of our community. Hosted by Unfiltered Photography LLC in partnership with local organizations, the event will provide essential materials, resources, and supportive services in a welcoming, celebratory environment. Hidden Figures Freedom Fest will take place on June 6, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM in the parking lot of the Bethesda Center for the Homeless in Winston-Salem.The Hidden Figures Gallery Campaign was created to highlight and humanize an often-overlooked part of our community. Through storytelling and photography, the project uplifts the voices of individuals experiencing homelessness while also mobilizing resources and partnerships that provide tangible support. Community organizations and volunteers are invited to participate as “free vendors” offering services or donations that benefit those attending.
