Event Guidelines & Eligibility Requirements
To ensure fairness and that our Thanksgiving Celebration reaches families in true need, all participants must meet the following eligibility criteria and agree to event guidelines:
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a resident of Altadena or Pasadena, California.
- Must provide proof of residency (e.g., current utility bill, rental agreement, or official mail).
- Must provide proof of hardship, such as:
- Loss of home or current housing instability,
- Job loss or reduced income, or
- Relocation due to hardship circumstances.
- Must present a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card at check-in.
- Each registration is valid for one household only (maximum of 5 family members).
- Each family may register and attend once—duplicate registrations will not be accepted.
Event Conduct & Participation
- Families must arrive during their designated check-in window to ensure smooth service and avoid crowding.
- Respectful behavior is required at all times toward staff, volunteers, and other guests.
- Meals and resources are provided while supplies last—early arrival is encouraged.
- All children must remain with their parent or guardian during the event.
- No outside food, alcohol, or pets are permitted at the venue (service animals are welcome).
- By registering, attendees consent to photos or videos being taken for community outreach purposes by the Hidden Blessing Foundation team.
