Hibernation Ritual

Asheville, wow. This past year was another unprecedented one, bringing a hurricane none of us could have prepared for. We have all felt Helene’s aftermath, especially those already living and working on the margins. This December, we honor str!ppers who lost their local workplace in the flood.

This show was created as a place of respite. A cozy, easy, creative cup designed to pour over onto our dancers in need of a break. Thanks to additional support from local sponsors, this show is able to pay dancers what they would make on a good night at work in town, surrounded by community support and the flowers they are owed.
