The 2025 Charles Taylor Holiday Dinner will be held on Friday December 12th at the Expo Center at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville. The popular dinner is one of the largest and longest-running political dinners in North Carolina. The program will include updates from federal and state officials on important political issues, as well as honorary awards for leaders in business and politics. The event begins at 5:30 pm with a photo reception. The dinner and program begin at 7:00 pm. Purchase your tickets now to guarantee a space. Ticket sales at the door will be subject to availability. The Charles Taylor family has been hosting the holiday dinner for more than two decades to give Western North Carolina residents an opportunity to hear from leading Republican Presidential, Gubernatorial, Congressional and local candidates. Past speakers have included Vice-Presidents, Speakers of the House, Republican Presidential nominees and many other state and nationally known Republicans. Congressman Taylor is the longest serving Republican U.S. Representative in Western North Carolina history, representing the 11th District from 1991 to 2007.
