On her birthday, Fatima opens the door to a stranger who claims to be her best friend and declares she’s going to live with her for the rest of her life. A shocked Fatima can barely even pronounce this best friend’s name…Es-tro-something? Terrified of this imposter, who is taking her on a roller coaster of emotions and bringing all kinds of confusing thoughts, Fatima calls her real best friend Shubhankar. But looks like he needs help too. Will the two friends be able to weather the storm that’s come into their lives? A play within a play, Hi How Who Why Are You? is an interactive comedy that explores the dawn of adolescence and what it does to how we think, feel and behave.
