HHS Day at Cal Poly Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) invite you to CPP's inaugural "HHS" Day for a day of engaging events. Join us for a series of workshops on federal career pathways, grant writing, and opportunities for small businesses, designed for students, faculty, and the public.

With approximately 80,000 employees nationwide and around the world, the mission of HHS is to enhance the health and well-being of all Americans. We are honored to be joined by HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer Karen Comfort, to launch the event.

As the top-ranked polytechnic university in the country for social mobility, Cal Poly Pomona is proud to enter into this partnership with HHS to support their desire to provide greater opportunities for students from underrepresented communities to learn about and support the mission of this vital federal department that administers a wide variety of health and human services and conducts life-saving research for the nation.
