What to Expect:
Family-Friendly, Inclusive Atmosphere: This event is all about community, fun, and making memories with the people you love most. Whether you’re a little one trying your first dance steps or a seasoned dancer, there’s something for everyone! Our dances are easy to learn and full of energy. Our dances are also free of gendered calls, so you can dance with whoever you like, in whichever role you prefer.
A Mix of Dance Styles: While we’ll have plenty of square dancing, we’re mixing it up with folk dances from many different cultural traditions. By now if you've come to a few dances, you'll have noticed the program is quite different from a typical square dance in many ways- we love square dancing! And there are so many other dances we love too. This dance is an opportunity to explore a wide variety of accessible, family friendly social dances from all across North America and beyond. We'll dance in circles, squares, contra lines and other fun configurations.
Come for the dance, stay for the fun!
