Rules:Timed matches - 1 hr (5 min grace period). If in 3rd set, whoever has higher points when time is up is the winner.
Coed 4s (Upper) - must have at least one girl on the court, everyone front row, shoulders must be square to where you push the ball, no tipping but knuckles allowed, can directionally block, no net touches, no going under the net even after ball is down, foot can shadow the line unless it is deemed a safety issue by referee. If ball hits ceiling but stays on your side can still play.
Coed 6s (Lower) - must have at least two girls on the court, traditional volleyball rules regarding front row and back row. Tipping, push and dump not being square, and other 6s rules apply.
Men’s/Womens 4s - everyone front row, shoulders must be square to where you push the ball, no tipping but knuckles allowed, can directionally block, no net touches, no going under the net even after ball is down, foot can shadow the line unless it is deemed a safety issue by referee. If ball hits ceiling but stays on your side can still play.
Can take up to 12 teams for both categories (6 for Men's and 6 for Women's)
Tournament Rules: Single Elimination, only allowed to play with subs that were added to your roster during regular season play.
NO PLAY FOR MEN/WOMEN THESE DATES: JUNE 23 (MOVED TO THURSDAY, JUNE 18), JULY 21 (MOVED TO THURSDAY, JULY 16)
NO PLAY FOR COED THESE WEEKS: JULY 28 (WILL HAVE THURSDAY, JULY 9 TO REPLACE)
*When selecting your team's division please keep in mind that Open/AA is for those players who have strong tournament, club or college experience. BB/A is for those with more Recreational experience and is not as fast paced. For Coed, Upper and Lower is similar designation.
