Outside the front of The Red Lion, Heytesbury BA12 0EA.
Parking anywhere in the village to leave at 6:30pm (Please car share where possible).
While we cross the two Iron Age Hill Forts, I am hoping to find a few Wild Orchids (Last year we found a few rare ones) and maybe some Tanks 🤞 while we take in the views across Salisbury Plain.
At the sunset spot I plan to stop for our late evening Cake/Snack stop. Sunset time is 9:21pm.
After, we will want torches and high viz jackets, just to let the tanks spot us easily and other vehicles. As some small sections will be along tank lanes. (fingers crossed we may get clear skies for stargazing on the way back)
-This walk could have cattle in some fields, so it is not dog friendly.
Disclaimer: I am not qualified in first aid so people are taking these walks at their own risk
