Join us for the annual Heritage Open Days when historic buildings across the country throw open their doors to welcome visitors.St Peter's will be open from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September with our usual heritage displays about the history of the church, the local area and Ipswich and the magnificent Ipswich Charter Hangings.
On Saturday 13th September we will be joined by GeoSuffolk, with their display on the human history of Suffolk, from the discovery by humans of the area nearly a million years ago, through to battling the Ice Age, living with Mammoths and making machinery during the Industrial Revolution and beyond.
On Sunday 14th September we be holding one of our craft and gifts fairs, with our very talented stallholders giving you an opportunity to start some early Christmas shopping!
Entry is free across the weekend.
