Heritage Open Day - Bridging the Tamar - Anchorage Tour

Join our volunteer tour guide to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at the Tamar Bridge. You'll go inside the anchorage and see an area normally closed to the public.

As part of the Heritage Open Days we are offering free entry for visitors.

Tour lasts approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Given the nature of the location of the anchorage (an enclosed space with steep steps), we may not be able to meet certain specific accessibility requirements. Please note a minimum age of 11 years applies to this tour. We're currently following government recommendations for COVID 19 and encourage visitors to wear a face covering inside the anchorage.
