Gathering is a black metal band from central Oregon. Their music can be described as technical, melodic, heavy and at times atmospheric. Their sound is the embodiment of the harsh and beautiful environment which surrounds and inspires them. Their lyrics reflect this inspiration with lyrical themes centered around the forests, mountains, deserts and canyons of their home, with other lyrical themes being based on history, spirituality and the human condition.
Hereticon (Seattle Black Metal)
Hereticon is a raw black/death metal band based in Seattle, Washington, formed in 2011 by vocalist/guitarist Lord Nox. Originally a one-man studio project, the band evolved into a full lineup with an Aztec occultist theme, often incorporating Nahuatl in their work. They are known for their intense, atmospheric, and blackened sound.
