Building something new? Here in Brooklyn or off in the woods?

Last year, many of us will remember that 475 Building Supply brought us high-performance retrofits for existing masonry buildings to help us with our renovations of NYC’s grand old building stock.

This year, 475 Building Supply will educate us about high-performance wall assemblies for a range of new construction applications: noncombustible assemblies for projects here in the City and other kinds of rain screens for our suburban and rural projects.

Join AIA Brooklyn on April 15th as 475’s passive house experts introduce us to the membranes, insulations and sealants that go into these high-performance systems while unpacking how to detail the transitions where perimeter meets windows, doors, foundations and floor systems. The presentation will be followed by a robust Q & A.
