About this Event
The Herb Processing Workshop is the second half of Our City Forest's 2-part Herbalism series. Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 to utilize the herbs harvested during the pruning workshop (Part 1) and learn about the medicinal and edible properties of native and drought tolerant plants.
Activities will include:
- taking an educational herb tour
- joining a crafty herb activity
- brewing an herbal tea
- creating your own essential oils
What to bring (if able, we will have extras) :
- Small Dropper Bottle for Essential Oils
- Regular coffee mug
Make sure to check out Part 1 of the Herbalism Series on April 11, 2026 where we will learn proper pruning techniques and gain hands on experience with harvesting herbs for use.
We ask that all participants wear close-toed shoes and long pants. We highly recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and a hat.

- Participants18 and older must submit a Participant Waiver and Release Form.
- Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Participant Waiver and Release Form.
- Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend.
