About this Event
As we move toward the Fall Equinox and the season of harvest, we are invited to align with the wisdom of late summer and early autumn on the seasonal wheel...a sacred time of transition, reflection, gratitude, release, and softening into a slower pace of being after the busy summer season.
Join us on September 11th for a Fall Equinox Herb Crafting Class as we gather in community to welcome the changing season through herbs, ritual, creativity, and connection to the Earth. Together, we will work with the magical herb Mugwort, learning about its long relationship with dreaming, intuition, protection, and connection to the ancestral realm while crafting Mugwort Dreaming Bundles for the home and altar.
We will also create our own nourishing Fire Cider, a traditional herbal folk remedy made with ingredients such as garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, herbs, citrus, and apple cider vinegar. Fire Cider has long been used to support immunity, circulation, digestion, warmth, and vitality during the colder months and seasonal transitions. Each participant will learn about the medicinal properties of the herbs and ingredients while blending their own jar to take home and infuse.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down as we approach these final weeks of summer and gently soften into the waning season of Fall. As the trees draw their sap inward and the earth begins to exhale, we too are called inward...to rest, restore, release, and begin dreaming the next dreams taking root within us.
Through herbs, creativity, ritual, and heartfelt connection, we’ll gather to honor the shifting season and remember our deep relationship with the cycles of the Earth.
