Join community herbalist Kelly Pietro to learn how to make herbal infused oils. In this in-person "make-and-take" workshop you will learn how to infuse carrier oils with herbs for the purpose of medicinal, culinary and skincare uses. In this workshop you will:
-Learn how to choose the right oil for infusions.
-Learn how to choose the appropriate herb based on the application.
-Discuss various uses for infused oils.
-Learn various infusion techniques.
-Get hands on step-by-step instruction so you can infuse your own oils at home.
-Prepare and take home your very own herbal infused oil.
-Class notes will be provided.
Advanced registration is required by May 8. We will need a minimum of 13 students to run the class. This class is appropriate for ages 15 and older.
