Herb and W**d Wisdom: How plants can support our lives beyond tea and tinctures.This class will focus on how to bring the wisdom of wild plants, herbs and weeds into our everyday lives and routines in nourishing, practical, sustainable ways. We will explore magical uses as well as making delicious dips and sauces that use springtime allies like dandelion, chickweed, and dock, all nutrient-dense greens that support the immune system, digestion, liver health, and help decrease inflammation. We’ll delve into the calming benefits of magnolia, linden and other springtime flowers, exploring how these gentle plant friends can offer relief from stress and anxiety. Plus we will share the many uses of briars and brambles—not only as sources of vitamins and weaving material but also as magical allies that remind us to hold our boundaries and celebrate the fruits of our collective efforts.
This class is all about nourishment and integration, offering tangible tools and inspiration to deepen your connection with the plants around you.
PART ONE - FORAGING WALK: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, $25 per person. One free child under 12, with each paid adult.
