About this Event
Join us at Clary Sage Herbarium for a class with Erika Ironwood, where we’ll explore how to bring the wisdom of wild plants into our everyday lives. This offering will focus on nourishing ways to integrate herbs and weeds into your diet and routines, with an emphasis on practical, accessible practices.
Erika will guide us through creating delicious dips and sauces using springtime allies like dandelion, chickweed, and dock. These nutrient-dense greens support the immune system, digestion, liver health, and help decrease inflammation.
We’ll also delve into the calming benefits of magnolia and linden flowers, exploring how these gentle plant friends can offer relief from stress and anxiety. Plus, Erika will share the many uses of briars and brambles—not only as sources of vitamins and weaving material but also as magical allies that remind us to hold our boundaries and celebrate the fruits of our collective efforts.
This class is all about nourishment and integration, offering tangible tools and inspiration to deepen your connection with the plants around you.
