The Prairie Branch of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada cordially invites you to attend an afternoon RCAF Centennial lecture and discussion on the Heraldry of the RCAF by Charles Robertson Maier, CD, PhD, FRHSC, former Athabaska Herald of the Canadian Heraldic Authority. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to chat with a foremost expert on the origins, uses, and rules regarding the design and granting of the RCAF's official heraldic devices. Q&A will follow..
Discover the symbols and emblems that represent the history and traditions of the RCAF. This event will take place at the 17 Wing Winnipeg Event Centre (former Officers’ Mess), providing a unique opportunity to learn about the heritage of the RCAF in person, though a separate event with a Zoom link will also be provided to enable attendance from anywhere in the world.
For those attending in person, registration is required due to the rules of the venue. There is no charge to attend for RHSC Members and all others, however donations are welcome.
Coffee, tea and pastries will be provided for in person attendees.
