The 204 Bassheads along with the 306 Bassheads bring you the summer heat with this ground shaking, beat shaking event! The PEG CITY BASS WARS 1x Db Drag Racing Event hits Winnipeg July 13th coming to Visions Electronics!Db Drag Racing is a sanctioned event for car audio enthusiasts of all levels!
Db Drag Racing is a head to head competition to see who has the loudest system judged by class (each vehicle and system is analyzed and grouped with other systems/vehicles of the same caliber) Each competitor gets 30 seconds to use any sort of source material they would like (test tone, sweeps, and music are all permitted) These runs are done with all windows and doors sealed and with the testing mic on the windshield of the vehicle.
Bass Race is a contest skill and is like bracket racing, but with stereos! Bass Race is a 30 second average where the competitor has to use Music (boomcheck from the db drag cd) as the source material and need is aiming to acheive an average SPL level closest to there Delta (delta = target spl {119.99,129.99,139.99,149.99,etc}) Competitors in Bass Race compete against people looking to achieve the same Delta.
Top Dog is similar to Bass Race but instead of competitors only competing against the competitors with the same Delta, everyone competes everyone. Top Dog is a 30 second average to get to your target spl. Source material must be music.
Psychlone is a DEMO based class! Pyschlone competitors get 1 minute to get their highest average SPL at the lowest frequency for the most BONUS points! competitors must have the drivers door open and the run consists of 1 mintue of musical average, any source material can be used (boomcheck is typically a good one)
Freestyle is what is sounds like! The testing mic is placed inside a "GLOBE" and the globe can be placed anywhere infront of the b pillar of the car! The competitor gets 30 seconds and total of 2 attempts to achieve there highest SPL. After both runs (if the competitor chooses to use both runs) the computer will automatically take the higher of the two runs SPL and that will be your final score for Freestyle.
Hairtricks is a fun class and is just to show off and have fun! Each competitor is given 30 seconds to demonstrate their best attempt at making the judges hair messy, choke the judge out, or straight up violate the judge with there nasty and WINDY demos! 30 seconds seems like a long time till your in the hot seat trying to make the judges hair dance!
