On the afternoon of Sunday 22nd March we are looking forward to welcoming the melodic rock fusion Henry Frampton Group to JJJ.The group is an original melodic rock fusion band founded by principal writer, lead singer/saxophonist/keyboardist, Henry Frampton and well known touring guitarist John Robertson (The Selecter, Grace Jones, Lulu, Sky, Morcheeba, Level 42 etc).
The HFG has a majestic stadium sonic fusing lush vocal harmonies, expansive keyboard textures, electric/acoustic guitar, diligent percussive elements and lyrical saxophone melody conjuring a rich tapestry of stereophonic sound within a passionate sentiment. Sonic influences include the pastoral textures of the Pat Metheny Group, stridence of Canadian rock trio RUSH, vocal arrangements of The Carpenters and the romantic, symphonic works of Vaughan Williams and Khachaturian.
