Dive into the ancient art of henna and discover why people across cultures and centuries have used this beautiful, natural plant dye to adorn the body. Perfect for beginners and curious creatives, this class introduces what henna is, its cultural significance, and how it is traditionally used. You’ll learn how to prepare your own henna paste, create a plastic cone applicator, explore traditional design styles and patterns, and understand important safety tips and aftercare. Each participant will receive a henna tattoo created by the instructor and take home a sheet of traditional patterns to inspire future designs. All supplies are included in the cost.
Safety/allergy information: Henna used in class will be 100% herbal/natural and free of any form of chemicals/dyes. Natural ingredients found in the kitchen are used to create your henna paste :)
