Hello, Hendersonville High School Class of '75. The HHS Class of 75 Planning Committee wanted to ensure all Classmates knows what we have going on the weekend October 3rd and 4th. We really want to see you that weekend. It will be great seeing everyone again after 50 years of not seeing each other much- if ever.
Please consider coming, so we can put the class together again.
The cost is $50 per person, and it includes the Saturday dinner and a gift from the class. It also will help pay for any of the former teachers we have found, and they have agreed to come. Here are the things going on....
Friday, October 3
5:00pm. The HHS Alumni Association has its Hall of Fame inductions in the auditorium. It is a great time to see some other alumni from all classes who show up just to see the inductions.
7:30pm. The football game follows this, starting at 7:30pm. We will have a section in the stands reserved for the Class of '75, so we can sit together during the game. We will all meet at the Senior steps at 7:15pm and go in the gate together if you can make it.
After the game. HHS alumni get together at Southern Appalachian Brewery on Locust Street right behind Bruce Drysdale Elementary School. It gives us a chance to see a lot of HHS alumni. This is an annual event where alumni from all years come and see each other for a while after the game.
Saturday, October 4
10:00am. Tour of the new HHS building This will give you a chance to see the school. It has been redone, so it is really exciting to see the new HHS.
6:00-10:00pm Our 50th reunion at the Hendersonville Country Club. It will be at the grill which is right beside the golf pro shop. This will include dinner, a cash bar and a great chance to see and chat with a lot of people you may not have seen in a long time. It will be a lot of fun.
It will be a great weekend at a minimal Cost of $50 per person.
