Henrico is celebrating Bike Month!
From 5:00-7:00 p.m., join us for a HenBIKEo Safety Workshop:
*On 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹, learn about road use safety and Henrico County’s infrastructure improvements from Public Works and Recreation and Parks with giveaways, a Safety Pledge, and crafts.
*In the 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘁, kids can develop their cycling skills with the Bike Police.
After the workshop, Blue Ridge Cyclery invites cyclists of all ages and abilities on a ride with Public Works.
*Starting from and ending at the Pier, this supported group ride will have 3-mile and 9-mile options with five stops.
*Representatives from Public Works and Bike Walk RVA will present on upcoming bike lanes and trails.
*You can view the route at ridewithgps.com/routes/50102374 (the 3-mile option turns around after the Dickens Road presentation).
The ride will depart promptly at 7:00 p.m. with the 9-mile riders returning by 8:30 p.m.. Helmets and front and rear bike lights are required by law.
