Helter Skelter returns to Derby for one last night, held in memory of Joanna Stewart, who sadly passed away late last year. Jo was part of the Helter Skelter crew and one of the DJs during the nights we ran together from 2009 to 2011 at The Vaults on Iron Gate.For this special evening, Anna Phillips and Tom Kitchen, founding members of the night, will, for the final time under the Helter Skelter label, take to the decks to celebrate both Jo and a shared love of the 1960s.
Expect the sounds of Tamla, Stax, Atlantic, Northern Soul, Mod, R&B, Blues, Boogaloo, Hammond grooves, Beat, Psych, Surf, Blue-Eyed Soul, Garage, Sunshine Pop, Funk, Ska, and more.
This is an intimate venue and tickets are limited.
All profits from this night will be donated charity.
