We are finally relaunching after a quiet pandemic season!
Last time, we brought data science professionals together in Messukeskus Siipi by gathering 550 participants, ranging from professionals to students to academics.
This year, our focus will be in providing face-to-face networking and state-of -art presentations as a medium-sized Data Science Event.

Helsinki Data Science Day is a great opportunity for the community to learn and share knowledge, best practices, and new discoveries. The idea is to bring the experts together to discuss topics – even technical ones – on state-of-art data science and statistics, and to share ideas and experiences.

COVID passportThe regional state administrative agency (AVI) has made the COVID passport mandatory for events of over 20 persons in the Helsinki area from 4 December 2021 onwards. For this reason you will have to present a valid EU digital COVID certificate upon entry to Helsinki Data Science Day. An EU digital COVID certificate is a digital proof that a person has either
- Been vaccinated against COVID-19 OR
- Received a negative test result OR
- Recovered from COVID-19
Please note that the current Finnish legislation only accepts the EU digital COVID certificate and COVID certificates of certain non-EU countries. At the moment persons visiting Finland from outside the EU short term are unable to receive EU COVID certificate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
