The Novi Community and Reflexion present Helping Hands, an art exhibition of hand drawn life sized portraits drawn by children in Ukraine. Helping Hands is an activity developed by Novi with the support of a clinical psychologist that helps children be emotionally aware and identify who and what helps when traumatic events occur. The exhibition is made of 18 life sized portraits that show the impact of the activity as videos play beside the artwork to show the viewer the actual event taking place.Wine, refreshments and finger foods will be served. Valet parking is available.
Novi equips caregivers, restores education, provides nutritious food, and fosters community belonging through trauma-informed programs for children in war-torn and high-stress environments. While armed conflict often isolates and traumatizes children, leaving them disconnected, vulnerable, and struggling with the emotional toll of violence, Novi's goal is to ensure they are healthy, learning, and building friendships within their war-torn communities, providing them the support and care they need to heal and thrive.
