About this Event
MCR Youth Pride is somewhere we want all young people to feel included and celebrated. We know that sometimes, this means holding specific activities for groups of young people who don't always feel their identities are represented.
For this year's MCR Youth Pride we are collaborating with Colours Youth Network and Kids of Colour to bring workshops and activities specifically aimed at young people of colour to our programme. We'd love you to help us shape what this looks like!
Join us for an evening of food, discussion and games - where you can share with us your thoughts about this year's youth pride programme and meet other young people too.
A bit about our collaborators :
Kids of Colour
- Kids of Colour is an anti-racist youth work organisation, committed to racial justice for young people of colour in Greater Manchester. They create spaces for young people of colour aged 25 and under to explore ‘race’, identity and culture, and to feel supported, validated and celebrated. Kids of Colour also advocate for young people and communities, challenging racism and building collective resistance and solidarity.

MCR Youth Pride
- Youth Pride MCR provides a safe and nurturing environment where young people can explore diverse identities, develop new skills, forge meaningful friendships, and express themselves authentically. Curated just for 14-18-year-olds, these workshops are designed to build confidence, foster connections, and offer a space for young people to thrive.
