dlr Sports Partnership, Arts Office, Libraries, Age-Friendly Programme and dlr Social Prescribing are partnering together for the Hello, How R U campaign from Mental Health Ireland.
The campaign is about connecting and engaging in open conversations about mental health. They are asking individuals, communities, workplaces, friends & family to say Hello and ask the question ‘How Are You?’ in a meaningful way. Asking this small question and having one conversation can make a real difference in someone’s life. Creating, maintaining, and staying connected with others helps tackle loneliness, creates a sense of belonging and purpose and builds relationships.
Join us on Wednesday the 15th of May for a social Walk & Talk and follow the Harbbour Trail on Dún Laoghaire East Pier. Followed by a well-deserved tea/Coffee/ and patries in dlr Lexicon. We will then have an informative chat about what services and programmes are on in Dlr and how you can access them easily.
