About the Authors
Emily Hurd is an author and entrepreneur based in New York City. A lifelong musical theater enthusiast, she now enjoys sharing her passion with her two young children, introducing them to the magic of live performance.
Michael Mitnick is a playwright, screenwriter, and songwriter. His plays include Scotland, PA (Roundabout Theatre Company, New York Times Critics’ Pick) and Fly by Night (Playwrights Horizons, Drama Desk nomination for Best Musical). His film work includes The Giver and The Current War. Originally from Pittsburgh, he now lives in New York, just minutes away from Broadway.
Natalia Rojas Castro is an illustrator from Bogotá, Colombia. She has contributed artwork to books, magazines, and advertising projects, while also dedicating time to social initiatives supporting rural communities in Colombia.
