About this Event
During summer 2010, Heidi pedaled solo from Eugene, OR, to Washington, DC to a historic roads conference. Navigating mountains, prairies, and intense heat, she met kind strangers who changed the way she saw America and herself. A memoir of homecoming, Heidi Across America is a love letter to America and the tender heart within.
Heidi Beierle is an author, artist, slow traveler, and creepy crawly lover. Her work has been published in National Geographic Traveler, High Desert Journal, VoiceCatcher Journal, and Journal of America's Byways. Learn more on Heidi's Facebook page.
