Its the start of the 2025-2026 hedge planting season and we have some more fantastic spots to go. The first one is above Waterley Bottom up a steep single track lane but worth it when you get there! We will be planting a mixed hedge along two boundaries to connect existing hedges in Waterley Bottom.
Please be aware there are some steep slopes.
Wellington boots or sturdy walking boots advised! Please also plan bringing rain-gear as needed. Please bring a spade suitable for planting saplings; a small border spade is ideal. Good gardening gloves are useful and you may wish to bring eye protection as we will be using canes to support the saplings.
Cakes, tea, and coffee will be provided.
