While at times a bit more up-tempo, it is painfully slow music plowing forward more slowly than your average garden snail.

Crawling forth from the grimmest gutters of The Netherlands, Dodentocht is a three-piece force that forges Sludge and Deathdoom into a suffocating storm of crushing riffs and merciless intensity. Last year, they rose from the shadows to play a last-minute show for us, an unholy gift of raw heaviness and proved beyond doubt that they are as awesome as they are terrifying.
