To celebrate World Space Week we're working in partnership with the Hampshire Astronomical Group to present a special evening called 'Heaven's above: Explore the night sky' on Wednesday 8 October, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Central Library. This event is suitable for all ages and you will have an opportunity to learn how to use a telescope and look through one to explore space, handle a meteorite and enjoy informative and accessible talks and films about astronomy. There are 2 start times - 6.30pm and 7pm - please indicate your preference when booking.
