Chris Ferreira will lead the half-day, face-to-face, workshop and provide high quality information on managing your property sustainably.
He is well known for his work on choosing, establishing, and sustaining small properties across Australia and New Zealand. Since 1993 over 18,000 small to medium farmers have participated in his successful programs.
You'll learn about enhancing your land stewardship, improving management of small properties in Perth’s peri-urban areas – addressing water quality, soil health, fire management, and biodiversity.
You will have an opportunity to ask questions and network with fellow land managers.
Topics:
• Improving soil health and water quality
• Protecting and enhancing bushland and native vegetation
• Considering threats to your property and their management e.g., controlling weeds, wildfire
Presented by the Shire of Mundaring, the Forever Project and Perth NRM. This project is supported by funding from Western Australian Government State NRM Program.
