One of seven children, born in the coalfields of West Virginia to a miner and a minister, Heather Hannah is a fifth generation harmony singer and songwriter who enlists the divining rods of melody and lyric in her lifelong pursuit of purpose and place. With an antiquated voice and threadbare insides, she is the velveteen rabbit of songwriting of our era.
Lighting the way from various points within the state, fellow West Virginians Kyle Vass (bass) and Rebecca Wudarski (drums), have joined Heather to carry on the time honored tradition of storytelling through song.
