Join us on January 7th for a ceremonial sharing circle. Sharing is optional, and you are welcome to share song, poetry, reflection, thoughts, practices, or simply your presence. We will be weaving a container of reverence, ritual, and ceremony, incorporating vocal toning and sacred song, with the intention to embody the voice that is ours to embody. Please bring:
~cushions, props, and/or blankets for sitting on the floor, if you’d like! (chairs are provided)
~warm and cozy clothing and layers. Our beautiful space is a large sanctuary that is difficult to fully heat in the cold temperatures. The indoor temp will likely be in the low 60’s. Please plan accordingly so you can be cozy and comfortable.
~Any sacred items or totems that will be supportive or inspiring for you.
Please enter the church through the far left door. The doors will be locked after 6:45 pm.
More info about Heartsong Monthly Drop-Ins:
Inspired by my course Way of the Heart~Song: A Nine Week Course in Singing as Spiritual Practice and Authentic Expression, this monthly drop-in gathering is meant to be both an introduction to this work for those who are new, and also a space where previous course participants can continue to gather and engage in this practice together.
This offering is open to all voices, regardless of singing experience. This is not a performative singing space, but rather a reclamation of singing as each individual’s inherent birthright, as a powerful modality for healing, expression, ritual, connection, joy, community, embodiment. All voices are welcome!
