Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended training is for non-healthcare providers such as daycare workers, lifeguards, construction workers, etc.
When you register for this event, you are registering for Step 2 of your training. Hands -on practice and validation of skills learned in part 1: Computer Online Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED session.
Please utilize either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox Browser (Internet Explorer frequently has difficulties loading and running AHA programs).
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR, and use of an AED. This course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community

Non- Employed need to go to www. elearning.heart.org to purchase - Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years. Online and complete the online portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED training before attending this skills validation.
Bring Certificate to session.
PLHS employees will be issued course key to access the online portion after completing your online registration; you will receive an email from "elearning.heart.org" with link and course key information.
Important: You must complete the online portion first and print the certificate of completion. Bring the printed certificate to your skills validation session. It is necessary to show that you completed the online portion. If you do not have your certificate of completion, you will not be able to complete the skills session.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please inform the instructors when you arrive for the session. The instructor will work to accommodate your needs within the stated course completion requirements.

- In the event that you are unable to attend, a courtesy call is appreciated.
- Classes may be canceled 72 hours prior if less than 3 participants registered.
- Please reschedule if you are ill, goal is to provide best learning environment.
