Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865 — the day the last enslaved Americans finally received news of their freedom. First celebrated in 1866, this powerful tradition now marks 160 years of history, resilience, and progress.
This year, we are especially honored to be part of New Canaan’s official America 250th Anniversary celebrations.
