Every stitch is a prayer and a release. Every adornment a symbol of love or memory and honor. Every color an emotion.
About this Event

HeartMending is a gentle process, creative class where we use textile collage and simple embroidery stitching as a way to tend to and heal our heart wounds. Through the tactile process of layering fabric and stitching with intention, in Kitsuni fashion, you’ll create meaningful pieces that reflect your journey toward wholeness. This is a nurturing space for reflection, expression, and quiet mending of the heart through the art of slow, soulful making.

Recorded and available for on demand after session.

This session is being planned to be held at Hollis Center outside Bonner Springs from 9 am - noon. It will not include lunch but water, tea, coffee and healthy snacks will be available. Fabrics, threads, embellishments, needles, scissors and writing materials as well as sketching materials will be available. We will have an indoor space to create as well as use the outdoor nature trails and labyrinth as able and if weather permitting.

Fee is 45.00 and you will need to register by 11/20/25.
