Beneath the surface of romance and connection lie unconscious images, early strategies, and projections that shape how we love, protect, and seek to be seen.Through guided meditation, visualization, breathwork, active imagination, and meditative self-inquiry, this 4-hour experiential workshop invites you to examine the deeper forces at play in intimacy—where the longing for union meets the call for individuation.
When we can withdraw our projections and release the expectation that another will rescue or complete us, we begin to encounter love as a conscious choice rather than an unconscious pattern. This work opens the door to greater authenticity, responsibility, and depth in how we relate—to ourselves and to others.
You’ll Learn To:
• Recognize the fusion fantasy and the myth of the “magical other.”
• Identify childhood strategies still shaping your relationships.
• Understand the intra-psychic imago—the inner image of self and other—and how it drives projection.
• Use breath and guided imagination to sense how these dynamics live in the body.
• Practice reclaiming projection energy through meditative inquiry and visualization.
• Redirect longing toward the deeper task of individuation—living your own path of meaning.
