Join us for choral singing at the Farmers’ Market! We’ll start with an informal busking performance by two radiant local choruses, Mothersong Chorus and Forest Voices Children’s Choir. Enjoy soaring harmonies at this local treasure of an event, showcasing the musical work of women, nonbinary folks, and children after a season spent freeing our voices in warm community.After the performances, join acclaimed indie singer-songwriter and songleader Noe Venable for a heart-opening community singing circle to awaken our hearts, move our bodies, and feed our souls.
All ages and genders warmly welcome and participation requires no prior singing experience.

ABOUT MOTHERSONG CHORUS:
Mothersong Chorus is a non-auditioned, intergenerational singing circle for women and nonbinary folks. (This space is trans-affirming.)
Our repertoire includes hypnotic sacred rounds and chants, gorgeous, easy to learn songs in two and three part harmony, and folk songs from a variety of traditions.
�We are a singing group, a talking and listening group, a place for deepening one's sense of connection to self, to each other, and to the more than human world.��You don’t need know how to read music — songs are taught the old-fashioned way, by ear. Nor do you need to be a confident singer. Together, we create a safe space for singers at all levels of comfort and ability.
