Heart of Gold Festival Pedal Power Becomes People Power!
The Heart of Gold Festival celebrates the role of outdoor recreation in supporting youth mental wellness in Nevada County.
Hundreds of experienced bike riders – many from the Bay Area and Southern California – will compete in the third annual Heart of Gold Gravel Race, which starts and finishes at Nevada County's Eric Rood Administration Center, with a 46- to 70-mile gravel ride through the Yuba River Canyon in between.
What: Heart of Gold Festival
Greet the riders as they cross the finish line and stick around for an afternoon of family fun. With local food trucks, live local bands, Rock The Bike spin art bike, lawn games, and an outdoor recreation and wellness Vendor Village with staff from local organizations focused on recreation and youth mental health.
When: Saturday, October 5th, 2024
