🌿🐝 Hello Radiant Bees! We're pleased to announce our next monthly morning Ecstatic Dance: Heart Hive's ADVENTURE🐝🌿Adventure begins the moment we say yes. Yes to the unknown. Yes to meeting a stranger’s hand in dance. Yes to a new rhythm, a new pathway, a new possibility inside ourselves. This month, we invite you to approach the dance floor like an open landscape — something to explore rather than control. As a hive, we become fellow travelers: curious, courageous, and willing to be surprised.
Our morning begins with a Contact Improvisation warm-up and live music by Moti Zemelman!!
With nearly two decades of practice and international teaching experience — including engagements at Earthdance, DanceBase (Edinburgh), Circuit-Est (Montreal), Zodiak Festival (Helsinki), and Villa Sumaya (Guatemala) — Moti brings deep lineage, playfulness, and precision to the practice. A teacher and board member at Earthdance Retreat Center in Massachusetts, and longtime student of masters such as Nancy Stark Smith and Andrew Harwood, Moti’s facilitation invites trust, listening, and embodied risk-taking. From there, we'll transition into an Ecstatic Dance with DJ Bl0ckh34d (Montana), one of Heart Hive’s directors. Known for crafting genre-bending, story-driven sets, DJ Bl0ckh34d guides dancers through an exhilarating sonic expedition — weaving electronic and organic sounds from classical to classic rock, tribal to trance, high-octane peaks to moments of serene integration. Expect unexpected transitions, nostalgic sing-along throwbacks, and expansive waves of sound that invite you to leap, wander, and fully let go.
Throughout the dance, please visit our community art project lead by Atira: come adventure on the provided canvas where we will collectively produce a work of "ARTventure"!

Following our closing, we’ll gather for our beloved community brunch and circle, with light post-dance nourishment such as fresh fruits, hummus & chips, granola, rice cakes, chai, and more!

DIRECTIONS & TRANSPORTATION
Address: 1950 Mass Ave Cambridge MA (Masonic Hall in Porter Sq) 3 minutes from Porter Square T! We encourage you to walk, bike and take the T. Free, on-street parking on Sundays and limited spots available at the venue. (Give yourself some extra time to find a spot as parking can be harder to find in this area.)

Heart Hive is a 501c3 organization! Instead of selling tickets, we are now accepting donations to help cover our new overhead as well as have more to properly pay talented artists and facilitators.
