Heart & Hooves Ranch Riding Association (HHRRA) Shows – 2026 Season 🐴The Heart & Hooves Ranch Riding Association (HHRRA) was created to offer a welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive Ranch Riding show experience for riders of all levels. Whether you’re entering your first Ranch Riding show or continuing to advance your skills, HHRRA focuses on horsemanship, sportsmanship, and steady rider growth.
Our shows are designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering progressive patterns and challenges for experienced riders. With multiple divisions, real-life ranch-style patterns, and a supportive atmosphere, HHRRA shows are about learning, confidence, and partnership—inside and outside the arena.
🐎 What Is Ranch Riding?
Ranch Riding showcases a forward-moving, willing horse that reflects practical ranch work. Patterns emphasize softness, correctness, and partnership through transitions, extended gaits, stops, turns, and ranch-style maneuvers. This class rewards real horsemanship and usability, making it accessible for new riders and meaningful for advanced competitors.

7 Two-Day Shows | 3 States – Minnesota • Wisconsin • South Dakota
• May 2–3 – Northwest Wisconsin Equine Club | Hayward, WI
• June 27–28 – Heart & Hooves Arena | Deer River, MN
• July 25–26 – Heart & Hooves Arena | Deer River, MN
• August 22–23 – Heart & Hooves Arena | Deer River, MN
• August 28–29 – Embarrass Region Fair | Embarrass, MN
• September 26–27 – Northwest Wisconsin Equine Club | Hayward, WI
• October 3–4 – Split Rock Equestrian Centre | Sherman, SD

Saturday – In-Hand & Ranch Trail
• In-Hand Under 2 Years
• In-Hand 2 Years & Older
• Ranch Trail (All Divisions)
Sunday – Performance Day
• Showmanship (In-Hand)
• Ranch Riding
• Ranch Rail
• All Around Ranch Horse
• Reining
Divisions:
Youth (18 & Under), Novice, Intermediate, Limited, Advanced, Open, Green Horse, Green Rider
💲 Class Fees
• Youth: $15 per class/division
• Adults: $20 per class/division
📝 Registration Information
• Registration is day-of-show
• Show office opens at 7:00 AM
• Registration closes at 8:45 AM
• All classes close 30 minutes prior to start time
• No clinic participation required to compete
📘 Riders are encouraged to review the HHRRA Rule Book prior to the show.
