Heart-A-Rama is excited to announce that its 2024 show raised over $97,500, thanks to its many sponsors, advertisers, and show guests. The Heart-A-Rama Leadership Team presented American Heart Association - Wisconsin with a $67,500 check. This donation funds national research to advance the fight against heart disease and stroke. In addition, a generous portion of the money raised, $30,000, is allotted to purchase 14 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for Manitowoc County non-profit organizations. HAR has donated over 200 AEDs, batteries, accessories, and training to local organizations since 1978.
Started in 1971, Heart-A-Rama is an all-volunteer organization established to raise funds to benefit the American Heart Association, which supports cardiac health-related research that has changed countless lives. Each year, hundreds of volunteers coordinate to produce a one-of-a-kind variety show that informs,
inspires, and entertains. In more than 50 years of quirky shows, Heart-A-Rama has raised more than $3,200,000.
