About this Event
Healthy Weight Matters is a program designed to empower participants to improve their health through lifestyle changes, including reaching and sustaining a healthy weight, incorporating physical activity into your daily routine, and having the tools to make these changes.
Small group sessions held weekly for 10 weeks.
- Sessions are led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
- A Physical Therapist will provide exercise guidance and a Certified Health Coach will speak on stress and behavior changes.
- Up to two sessions will be individual check-ins, focusing on unique needs and progress.
- Topics covered include balanced eating, individualized meal planning, mindful eating, physical activity, and assistance with barriers to health, such as sleep, fear, and stress.
- Participants will challenge themselves each week to achieve a new personal goal and learn valuable information to support their overall health for years to come.
Who is this program for: Anyone wanting to improve their overall health, including:
- Healthy eating for weight loss, whether 20 pounds or 100 pounds.
- Finding ways to incorporate physical activity into your daily life, forming habits that will last.
- Decreasing barriers that are holding you back from making positive lifestyle changes.
- Enhance the effects of tools you are already using to improve your health, developing habits that will assist in reaching and maintaining weight loss and overall health.
Fee: $250 for 10, one-hour sessions.
First session: Wednesday, January 8, 3pm - 4pm.
